Dr. Harris is a native of Moss Point, Mississippi and graduated from Moss Point High School. He attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and then graduated from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi with a degree in Biology. He attended dental school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry in Jackson, Mississippi. After dental school he completed a two year residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in Birmingham, Alabama where he served as Chief Resident. His residency included specific training in dentistry for children, adolescents, and those with special needs at Children’s Hospital of Alabama and the Sparks Center for Developmental and Learning Disorders.

Upon completion of his training Dr. Harris moved to Hattiesburg where he has been in private practice since 1986. He has been an active staff member of Forrest General Hospital and Merit Health Wesley Hospital since 1986, where he continues to practice pediatric hospital dentistry. Dr. Harris has been married to the former Jennifer Lynn Conerly of Hattiesburg since 1982. They have four grown children and six grandchildren. Dr. Harris is a member of Trinity Episcopal Church of Hattiesburg. Dr. Harris is a member of the American Dental Association, the Mississippi Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, South Mississippi Dental Society and the Mississippi Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Our Office

Our office is located conveniently on South 28th ave in Hattiesburg, MS. Come check out our newly decorated, child friendly interior space. Our office consists of a child-friendly play area waiting room, and 3 private exam rooms, where patients are welcome. We have parking available in the front of the office, with additional parking in the back if needed.
